The Ultimate Dayara Bugyal Trek Guide
Dayara Bugyal Trek, one of India's most impressive and glorious meadows, is an excellent place to demonstrate your trekking abilities as a beginner. This ideal trek is located at an elevation of nearly 3050 metres above sea level and is recommended for long weekends because it passes through thick dense forests and open areas at various points. Dayara Bugyal trekking begins in the village of Barsu. Hikers can enjoy the beautiful views of the flowing streams, stopping to gaze at the scenery.
Continue your trek through the lush maple and oak forests to Dayara Bugyal. There are no animals there, except for the cheerful mountain dogs who can accompany you on your hike. In addition to the Barbara Valley, there are excellent camping options. As you continue to climb, the forest thins out, leaving only the lush meadows of Dayara Bugyal's wide and spacious hills.
Why Should You Go on a Dayara Bugyal Trek?
Many people are unaware that Dayara Bugyal has the most snow of any trekking trail in India. Because white is so big and wide, you can't always see the end of it. I'd like to see snow in the winter. It's unusual to see it on a screen as large as Dayara. The views of Bandarpunch Mountain and the Black Peak, which rise nearly 21,000 feet in Dayara, are less common. The sight of these mountains emerging from Dayara's snow expanse is reason enough to undertake this journey.

Uttarakhand Dayara Bugyal Trek
Dayara Bugyal in the Summer
The region's climatic conditions are quite pleasing and favourable, and the weather remains mild, that is, neither too hot nor too cold. However, you should bring light woollen clothing with you because the nights can get chilly even in the summer. The best part about doing this trek in the summer is that there is no cloud or fog, so all of the peaks are visible.
Dayara Bugyal in the Winter
The winter season is thought to be the best time to plan your laka glacier weather because the area receives a significant amount of snowfall in December and January.
Dayara Bugyal during the Monsoon Season
Monsoon is the least recommended time to plan your weekend in Dayara Bugyal because this vastly elevated destination receives a lot of rain, making the area prone to landslides. There is a good chance that your trip will be delayed due to landslides, but if you are willing to take this risk, go ahead with your plan. The incredible beauty of the Himalayas and surrounding areas make it worthwhile to visit.
How to Reach Dayara Bugyal
Reaching this spectacular trekking site is not challenging as it is accessible via all modes of transports i.e. airways, railways, and roadways. Selecting the best mode of transport entirely depends upon your travel preference and your budget.
By Air- Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is considered to be the nearest airport to Dayara Bugyal. Getting road transport from the airport is quite easy as there are both private as well as public transport services available.
By Rail- If you are planning to come by train then reaching New Delhi Railway Station first would be more convenient. Book a ticket in the Nanda Devi Express train from New Delhi and reach Haridwar Railway Station by 4 am. Catch a bus or hire a personal taxi for Barsu village, the starting point of the Dayara Bugyal trek.
By Road- Getting a bus from ISBT Kashmere Gate in New Delhi is very easy as regular buses are plying from here. It almost takes 6 hours to cover the distance between the two states.
